Do they come assembled? No, and that's the fun of it. The pieces and the directions are in the kit, and assembly is quick enough to knock out at the kitchen table in an evening.
Do I have to paint them? Not at all — the bare wood looks good on a tree. But painting is why a lot of people buy these, especially with kids.
Can I get more than one ship? Yes. Pick one ship, choose the any-2 option, or take all four and build the whole fleet.
